Our City Forest's Community Nursery & Training Center is home to thousands of native and non-native tree, shrub and grass species. All trees and plants are available on a tax-deductible donation basis, and visitors can attend expert-led workshops on planting, care and propagation.

Here are some important guidelines for this event:

In order to volunteer at our nursery, you must bring the following items. Unfortunately, volunteers who arrive without the following must be turned away for safety reasons:
-Closed-toe boots or sneakers (no Crocs, sandals, flats, etc.)
-Proper work clothing (long pants are recommended; expect to get dirty)
-Water bottle (especially important; fresh water sink for refills on site)
-Appropriate sun or rain protection (sunscreen, hats, etc.)

Here are some important reminders about OCF facility:
-Please arrive at 8:45 AM
-We have gloves available for volunteers on site.
-Please park outside the main gate. There is a small parking area directly across the street from our front entrance

A maximum of 15 people can sign up for this event. The deadline to unregister is 10am on Thursday, Nov. 7.
